Our smartphone can be an distraction and forces us to connect with others even when we do not want to. In order to create some private time; we developed a mobile Candle app called ‘Private Candle’ that will block out all communications: incoming calls, text messages and SNS.
This novel approach spread through SNS in storm. In the first month since the launch, the total sales of Haagen-Dazs increased by 14% compare to the previous year. Further more, it successfully suggested the value of enjoying uninterrupted time to the current society, which has the tendency to remain overly connected.
